Handong Global University (President Choi Do-sung) signed an MOU with the Consortium for Global Education (CGE) on the June 26th. The agreement aims to accelerate international education innovation, provide quality educational opportunities to students around the world, and contribute to the development of global society.
CGE is an international educational organization with a total of 43 universities in 23 states from the U.S. and six foreign countries as member schools, and through this MOU, all member schools will participate in Handong Global University's HI (Electronic Intelligence) Alliance. HI Alliance is a program that implements customized sharing and diffusion by forming associations with domestic and foreign universities centered on Handong Global University’s innovation knowledge. In addition, CGE decided to cooperate in providing quality educational opportunities to students around the world and contributing to the development of the international community through Handong Open Platform for Education (HOPE), Handong University's online knowledge sharing platform.

Choi Do-sung, president of Handong Global University, said, "We are very happy to be with CGE, strengthening international citizenship capabilities and in ensuring that quality classes can be taken anywhere in the world through the HOPE platform and the HI Alliance."
Carolyn Bishop, CEO of CGE, responded, "Thank you for presenting an innovative educational model at Handong Global University, and we hope to work together to provide education that meets students' expectations in the AI era."
This agreement is evaluated as an important step in global education innovation to cultivate holistic intelligence talents in preparation for the AI era. The Holistic Intelligence (HI) talent pursued by Handong Global University refers to a talent with global competence and personality, along with the 4C(critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity) competencies based on AI literacy. Through this MOU, Handong Global University and CGE are expected to contribute to the development of global society by strengthening international cooperation and providing innovative educational opportunities to students worldwide.
