On January 19, 2017, President Soon-Heung Chang of Handong Global University visited the headquarters of Walmart, an American multinational retailing corporation. With the related staff of John Brown University, President Chang visited Walmart’s Innovation Lab of academic-industry cooperation with JBU. The group discussed technology cooperation including cyber use and security.
President Chang discussed cooperative measures including internships through the free semester system of HGU with Mr. Tomas Colella; Vice Representative of the International Executive Recruiting Department, of Walmart.
President Chang unveiled that “By dispatching excellent talents of Handong to Walmart large numbers of jobs would be created world-wide. HGU will participate to provide a venue to experience the global arena.”
