On January 5 to 6, Handong Global University hosted ‘A Training for Strengthening Capacity Building for Future Career Coaching Teachers.’ Case sharing was based on transcripts of school records.
As part of the Higher Education Normalization Project hosted by the Admission and Human Resource Department of Handong Global University, this event was prepared to strengthen capacity building for career coaching staff in university admissions.
The current status and development direction of University Admissions, screening documents and their understanding, mock evaluations, and the interview process were introduced with 200 participants. In the group were career path coaches, teachers, and admission-related staff.
In addition, exemplary cases in terms of implementing admissions based on transcripts of school records were shared from Handong Global University, Kyeonghee University, Konkook University, and Soongsil University. This event provided a venue to enhance career path capacity for teachers.
According to the Dean of Admissions and the Human Resource Department, “Admissions based on a transcript of school records reflects the way students follow school life faithfully. I hope that participants can understand university admission well and guide students based on a better understanding of all that is involved. HGU will continue to provide programs to strengthen the guidance capacity of teachers.”
