Every fall semester of the year, Handong Global University holds an event called “Festival Of Nations”, which began in 2011, has become Handong's unique global cultural event, with international students working in teams by continent and region to present various cultural performances, exhibitions, and food booths.

Organized by the International Student Union (ISU), Handong's international student community, and sponsored by the Unjung Education Foundation, the event features various cultural performances representing Korea, the Philippines, Mongolia, Indonesia, Japan, Nepal, Africa, and Latin America, etc. The event includes traditional dances and videos in traditional costumes representing the country.

Not only Handong Global University students and faculty, but also Pohang citizens are invited to participate in the event, adding to its meaning as an event that can be enjoyed by local residents.

The latest event happened in 2023 Fall, and the theme of the event was "Glimpses of the World," which means to experience the world through highlighted events representing each country and continent.
