Exchange Students (Dormitory & Facilities)
Handong Global University has a unique community system called Residential College (RC). All students in Handong are assigned to an RC and a team. In the Residential College (RC) system, students will be placed in a team with approximately 30 other students from different grades and majors and supervised by a team professor who provides mentorship. Students live in dormitory with team members, and experience fellowship by going to chapel and having team meetings together.
Among them, exchange students will be assigned to five different Korean dormitories (Hayongjo, Grace, Bethel, Vision, Lothem). Students will be able to experience the community spirit of HGU, along with Korean culture as an additional benefit.
Dormitory for Exchange Students
Each RC has it's own dormitory, where exchange students will be living with other exchange students or HGU students. Each dorm building includes a laundry room and a lounge, common shower stalls and toilets. Each student will have their own mattress, desk, chair, bookshelf, and closet. WiFi is provided free of charge in the dorms and throughout campus. Additionally, please note that Korea’s electrical socket supports Type C and Type F. Bedding is not provided; you must purchase it separately.
