About Handong Ambassador

Handong Global University is proud to introduce our exceptional team of Handong Ambassadors. These student representatives, all international students themselves, are passionate about building a welcoming and inclusive campus community. They serve as a valuable bridge between our incoming international students and the wider community. Through their own experiences and cultural insights, Handong Ambassadors help newcomers feel at home and thrive at Handong.

“I think studying at HGU is an incredible opportunity. Korea is a beautiful country, the community at HGU is warm and welcoming, and we can study subjects we could not at our home university (Korean Studies.) As an Asian Studies major student, the two semesters I spent at HGU were very rewarding. I would like to spread the word to my fellow Hungarian students, so they will not be worried about not knowing Korean before coming here or think Pohang is too rural. We have a whole English-speaking dormitory and great classes taught in English here, while Pohang has everything we need in the everydays and it is a good base for travels."
