An international student of Handong Global University (President Dosoung Choi) has been appointed as the Ambassador for the Korean Wave in Security, on September 5, 2023. Mr. Shelton, the appointed student, is a Junior, originating from Indonesia.
Ambassador for the Korean Wave in Security will take role as a leader to all international students, participating in Security and Promotions with the local police. The student also will serve as an assistant lecturer to Korean Law Education Session held each Spring and Fall semester to the newly incoming students.
Mr. Shelton, the appointed student, said, “I feel very meaningful to serve as the ambassador to represent Handong Global University as an international student.” He also said, “I will do my best to help foster safe and fun environment for students living on campus/”
Handong Global University, is accredited by Ministry of Education with the International Education Quality Assurance System (IEQAS), operating various internationalization program based upon partnerships with more than 200 universities from 60 countries. Currently, more than 260 international students originating from 60 countries are studying, with environments such as 100% English-operated majors, 100% of international students guaranteed a spot in the dormitory, and Korean Language and Culture Programs to help international students study well.
