As part of the University Innovation Support Project's internationalization program, Handong Global University (President Dosoung Choi) organized a Global City Development Camp in collaboration with global partner universities at the University of Khanh Hoa in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
The camp, which took place from July 17th to 23rd, lasted for about a week under the theme of 'International Collaboration Design for Sustainable Urban Growth.' Approximately 30 professors and students from Handong Global University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), ISCM Smart City Research Institute (Vietnam), and Thammasat University (Thailand) participated in the camp. Additionally, around 30 local civil servants from Khanh Hoa also attended lectures and discussions, showing significant interest.
During the camp, participating students experienced firsthand the process of diagnosing local issues in the tourist city of Nha Trang and deriving solutions for them through smart technology, eco-friendly technology, urban branding, and more, all contributing to sustainable urban environment construction and development projects.
