On December 22, Gyeongsang Province Educational Donation Center of Handong Global University assisted the ‘Dream and Talent Search Week’ at Hangdo Elementary School of Pohang.
Individual education donors of the Center lectured on the following topics: A Person Who Became a Choir Conductor Despite His Difficult Environment; the Ten Commandments of Leaders; and the Ensemble to Nurture Human Character.
Students had a time to consider their career paths. Many took one step forward to find their dreams and talents.
According to one student in the program, “I had lots of questions about a certain occupation. I had a good time to learn and ask questions with my career mentor.”
According to Inyoung Lee who lectured on choir conducting, “It was rewarding to meet students and share my time and talents. I hope everyone develops their own talents through a choir and learning the process to be one.”
The Head of the Center, Sukhee Jung said, “It was very meaningful to lead the private educational donation program in Dreams and Talents Search Week at Hangdo Elementary School of Pohang. I believe the students who had private educational donation time found the program very helpful. I hope that students will have an opportunity to find their dreams and talents with this program.”
Gyeongsang Province Educational Donation Center of Handong Global University was selected as the ‘Regional Center of Educational Donations in Gyeongsang Province’ hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity and Educational donation organizations and groups in Gyeongsang province are developed for customized educational programs to support the youth in Gyeongsang province.
