In December 2, Handong Global University reported that Jaemin Jung passed this year’s Civil Service Exam. Jaemin Jung studied for fourteen years after taking a leave of absence for two years in order to pass Civil Service Exam. In the preparation process, he had difficult times and even wanted to give up. However, he persevered and he finally passed the exam. According to Jung, “I cannot believe that I passed this difficult exam. God granted me this so I will do my best as a Christian Civil Servant.”
He entered the school in 2008 and belonged to the School of Management and Economics and double majored in Economics and Korean Law. He passed in general administration. Jung said, “I started to study with vision toward a unified Korea. As a civil servant, I want to do my best for the development of Korea after reunification.”
Jung also added, “I double majored in Economics and Korean Law so it was a great help at the initial stage. Also, I had a benefit to answer well in the interview based on my team gathering and academic activities during school year.”
He delivered an encouraging message to juniors who are preparing for the Administration Exam, National Examination, and for jobs by saying, “Challenge yourself without any fear. In fact, examinations are tough but I think that we can fully challenge ourselves to succeed as students of Handong.”
