On November 7, at Handong Global University, the ‘Highly Efficient Eco-friendly Smart RC Car Competition’ was hosted for the Nurture of Converged Talents in Sustainable Energy and the Environment of Gyeongbuk, Far East Area.
Seventy undergraduate school students of Handong Global University who have great interests in automobiles participated. Each student had to complete in a fixed track with an autonomous navigation drive using various censors and algorithms through bluetooth communication.
32 teams competed. The host selected two teams of winners and delivered certificates of merit to them.
According to one participant, “I could maximize my creativity on highly efficient green automobiles and share ideas with others. That made this competition very valuable time.”
This completion was prepared to nurture future clean energy and environment industries by developing excellent ideas based on creativity and revitalizing highly efficient green cars. Information was also disseminated in the converged fields of energy systems.
