Handong Global University Signed an Agreement with Gyeongbuk Migrant Center and Gyeongbuk Hanna Center

On November 29, 2016, Handong Global University, Gyeongbuk Migrant Center and Gyeongbuk Hanna Center had the cooperation agreement.

 

On November 29, Handong Global University, Gyeongbuk Migrant Center and Gyeongbuk Hanna Center mutually agreed to cooperate to improve awareness of North Korea Migrants and to nurture a sense of reunification for future generations.

 

In this agreement, President Soon-Heung Chang, Chief Director Youngdal Kim of Gyeongbuk Migrant Center and Jaesan Kim of Gyeongbuk Hanna Center, and nine others participated.

 

Both institutions agreed to cooperate in improving awareness of North Korea Migrants. They will work together to provide programs for nurturing unification awareness and academic research. Also they will promoted joint projects for North Korean migrants, and cooperate to create a stable settlement of North Korean migrants.

 

President Soon-Heung Chang said, “I sincerely hope that Gyeongbuk will be one of the attractive shelters in Korea. The major significance of this agreement is to find out and fix problems accurately through joint projects.” 

 

Chief Director Youngdal Kim said, “North Korean Migrant people are having a hard time adapting to South Korean education and perception. I sincerely hope that this new venture will create various programs and will organize for the reunification of Korea.”
