Discussion about the joint educational course with the university staff of UCSY
- 10.31~11.04, at Yangon Technological University of Myanmar
From October 31 to November 4, at Yangon Technological University, “2016 Myanmar Joint Education Course” was held with 35 graduates and professor of public service and architecture.
The joint educational course was themed “New Technology in the Construction Engineering Sector using ICT.” There were lectures, computer practice, and group activities.
The joint educational course is one of the UNITWIN projects of Handong Global University. It is part of being the host university for sustainable development capacity-building with developing countries in 2007 by UNESCO. The project is promoted by developing joint education courses by converging construction and IT utilizing Building Information Modeling, BIM with Yangon Technological University, YTU and University of Computer Studies, Yangon, UCSY.

The agreement on UNITWIN with related staff of UCSY (15.10.05)
For this Project, Professor Sangmo Jung and Professor Kumyoung Sung introduced UNITWIN Projects to the related staff of Yangon Technological University and the former UN Ambassador Si-young Yoo. The group discussed detailed schedules for joint educational courses and future cooperative measures(pic1), in February 2015. They met the Minister of Science of Technology, Ko Ko Oo, and had an in-depth discussion on educational cooperative measures and joint education courses.

Signing of the UNITWIN agreement with YTU related staff (15.01.21)
October 5, 2015, was the signing ceremony between Handong Global University Mie Mie Thet Thwin, President of Yangon Technological University. On January 21, 2016 the President of Handong Global University and President Aye Myint of Yangon Technological University signed the agreement.

Joint educational course in 2015 (15.11.02~06)
November 2 to 6, 2015, the joint education course on construction and IT used BIM. The participants were 32 graduate school students and professors of YTU located in Yangon.
The UNITWIN Project of Handong is an International Development Cooperation Project in the education field for promoting sustainable development capacity building of developing countries. The Project included sixty universities and institutions in 28 countries.
