The Educational Donation Center and the UA Convention signed an agreement for “revitalization of educational donations and educational cooperation”. Both institutions mutually agreed to cooperate for the revitalization of educational donations in Gyeongsang Province.
According to this agreement, both institutions will work together to create and disseminate the educational donation infrastructure, provide educational donation programs, develop educational donation program, match and promote educational donations through public relations.
The UA Convention Banquet Center located in Namgu, Pohang, provides educational donation programs in the fields of future careers and jobs for elementary, middle, and high school students in Gyeongsang Province. This allows youth to seek future careers and jobs in various occupational groups. The programs also help students understand the importance of business in the local society.
According to the Head of the Center, Sookhee Jung, “I really appreciate your willingness to impact the dreams of the youth. With the start of the free semester system, educational donation demands are increasing in local society so we have high expectations of the UA Convention.”
Representative Ke-huyn Chang said, “We will provide interesting and qualified educational donation programs so that students can find the value of various occupations.”
The Educational Donation Center in Gyeongsang Province is located at Handong Global University. HGU was selected as the ‘Educational Donation Center of Gyeongsang Province’ hosted by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity in July 2014. HGU is constantly developing educational donation organizations, groups, and private citizens. The goal is to develop customized educational donation programs so youth groups in Gyeongsang Province can benefit through customized educational donation programs.
The UA Convention is the only sea-food buffet style restaurant in Pohang. It provides customized banquet services with the objective of offering superb banquets for wedding, receptions, seminars, and family gathering in a multi-wellbeing cultural space.
