On September 23, the Graduate School of Global Management & Leadership (GGML) had its entrance ceremony for the 38th CEO course.

Starting with a prayer by Professor Youngmun Kim, welcome remarks were made by the Dean of the Academic Affairs Department. Congratulatory remarks were made by Professor Younggun Park. President Mu-whan Oh of the HGU  Alumni followed these speakers. In addition, many distinguished alumni participated in this ceremony and celebrated with the freshmen.

Welcome remarks by Professor Jongchurl Lee

In his welcoming remarks, Professor Jongchul Lee said, “In this era of knowledge information, we have frequent meetings and gatherings from various fields. I hope that this CEO course will be the venue to adopt the recent series of innovations, to organize the massive knowledge data, and to encourage businessmen.“

The CEO course increased the capacity of leaders to adapt to the rapidly changing global environment and to understand business, technology, and laws from a global perspective. In the 38th CEO course, 22 people from the National Assembly, representatives and high-ranking officials, public servants, and the self-employed registered. For one year, the students will join in various programs including field trips abroad under the leadership of the faculty who are secured with vast on-site experiences as well as theoretical knowledge.

Representative Myeongsuk Lee, of the 38th class of freshmen said, “I wanted to learn from the CEO course.  I applied to attend the course  to learn in-depth management knowledge and build a varied and wide human network. “

President Mu-whan Oh of CEO of the Alumni delivered remarks.

The CEO Alumni of HGU has contributed to the development of the school and regional society through active exchanges after their graduation. In his remark, President Mu-whan Oh of the CEO Alumni said, “700 alumni granted scholarships to the students of HGU who were in financial difficulties. We are creating a positive synergy effect by maintaining a good relationship through athletic competitions, and social activities.
