Professor Sangmo Jung received a Presidential citation on May 13 for contributing to educational development to the citizens by devoting education.
Professor Jung greatly contributed to international development collaboration projects of the UNESCO UNITWIN project in the field of education. He helped strengthen the sustainable development capacity of the developing countries by opening joint educational courses converged with construction and IT in Myanmar through his network.
In 2010, he was invited to join the fifth batch of Science and Technology Volunteer Group hosted by the Ministry of Education. He served as a professor for one year at the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia and contributed to nurture technology human talents. With his efforts, seven Cambodian students were given to study at a scholarship to attend the Graduate School of Handong Global University. After acquiring the scholarship, they are will contribute to the national development of their homeland when they return to Cambodia.
Besides, these activities, he is serving on various posts with a servant heart.
