On June 23, the Performance Report on the 66 the UN NGO Conference which was held from May 30 to June 1. It was successfully hosted at the UN headquarters, New York, in the U.S.
President Soon-heung Chang said, “Thanks to various organizations’ efforts and assistance, we successfully hosted the event within a relatively short time of preparation.”
He unveiled his willingness to the UN and related NGO staff by saying, “We will put the spirit of Gyeongju’s Action Agenda which was declared at this conference into practice and contribute to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. This will nurture Gyeongju as a global NGO center and provide global citizenship education. In addition, we will host the Global Youth Conference for SDGs and Global Citizenship in Gyeongju”.
