HGU announced its plan to host the ‘2017 Briefing Session on Admission to HGU’ starting in Daegu on June 21 and finishing in Ilsan on August 27. The schedule is as follows: June 21 at Daegu, June 23 at Inchon and Gwangju, June 24 Suwon and Busan, June 25 Bundang, August 23 at Ulsan and Changwon, August 25 at Chuncheon and Daejeon, August 26 at Seoul and Jeonju and August 27 at Ilsan. Anyone can join without prior registration.
In this briefing session, professors and admissions officers of HGU will introduce HGU and explain the admission criteria for 2017. In addition, analyzed data from last year's admission results and major details for 2017 entrance and related information will be offered. Individual consultations one-on- one will be provided to the applicants and their parents.
Duphil Kang, the Dean of the Admissions and Human Resource Development Office of HGU said, "This briefing session aims to provide accurate admission information to the applicants and parents. In order to reduce the burden on the applicant and contribute to the normalization of public education, we streamlined the required documents for 2017 by not applying the lowest SAT standard. We delivered accurate admissions information to the applicants and their parents according to this new admissions system."
Handong Global University selects freshmen without considering the major or school. If the interview date is changed for provisional admissions, a double application is possible.
