HGU’s Alumni of the CEO Course hosted a farewell and inaugurated its President at the UA Convention.
The Alumni of the CEO Course hosted a farewell and inauguration of its President at the UA Convention on April 29, 2016. Three hundred alumni and distinguished guests including President Soon-heung Chang of HGU, Mayor Kang-duk Lee of Pohang City, and Pohang Bukgu National Assembly-select Jungjae Kim attended in this event.
President Suhan Kim did his best to develop the Alumni Association with passion and devotion during the last four years. He succeeded former President Kim, Muwhan Oh was designated as the new President. The new President said, “I will give my utmost efforts to bring harmony and unity by serving the alumni. Personally, I would like to provide new knowledge to the alumni, build a wide human network, and help our alumni take leading roles as community leaders.”
HGU’s CEO Course was created to provide information on the domestic and international changes within the management environment and provide new knowledge related to management. The students learn practical information regarding business and management of a company through professional lectures as well as training for working abroad. In this course, representatives, executives, professionals, government officials, and self-employed workers usually attend.
HGU’s CEO Course has nurtured six hundred fifty graduates by actively contributing to the development of the school and regional society, donating scholarships to support students attending HGU. The group also hosts athletics meetings, golf championships, and mountain climbing trips.
