Professor Kuyeol Chang, Dean of the School of Communication Arts and Science of HGU, is taking a picture with the certification plaque donated by the Ministry of Education, five economic organizations, and the Korean Council for University Education. 

Handong Global University was designated as the best college by the enterprises in industrial sector. According to the university evaluation results released by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Council for University Education on April 21, 2016, HGU was designated as the best college in the media sector.  

‘College Evaluation from Industrial Perspectives’ was initiated in 2008. It is a program to evaluate college educational curriculum from the industrial perspective. The program suggests core competencies required at work and mandatory subjects reflecting economic organizations. The evaluation included ninety-nine departments from fifty-six different colleges that operate metal, game, media, and food related departments.

The evaluation committee included executives and staff from thirty-four enterprises such as Dosan Heavy Industry, Encsoft, MBC, and Sempio Food. One thousand, seven hundred three businesses participated in the surveys as well.
