On February 18, ‘ACE Project Achievements Proliferation Forum, Global HOPE’ was hosted at Allnations Hall, HGU, Pohang.
This forum was hosted in order to introduce excellent cases of Advancement of College Education projects to home and abroad, and this forum is hosting by the Academic Affairs and Planning Team of HGU.
In this forum, topic presentation on restructuring of school system for student-oriented creative convergence education, holistic student guidance system based on RC that converges learning and life, operation of evaluation on education and improvement system, and certification system that basic competency and academic. After the presentations, Q&A session and discussion were made.
President Soon-heung Chang said, “The aim of this forum is to share our wisdom for operating ACE projects through active discussion and feedback. I hope that we can create a venue to contribute nurturing creative and converged talents that will make innovative and creative values based on proper human character and global vision in the era of rapidly changing 21 Century.”
Handong Global University has designated as ACE project has become target university last year and US 4,338,144 dollars will be funded for four years in total. The ACE project is to develop leading model of ACE project, and disseminate the projects and supports comprehensive improvements including educational curriculum, teaching and learning system, and educational support system.
