The Educational Development Center of HGU Hosted the Educational Donations Briefing Session

December 12, 2015, at Novotel, in Daegu, the Educational Donations Briefing Session was held for 150 people. In attendance were many regional representatives, directors, and members of the MBA Student Union of Gyungbuk University in Daegu, and board members. The Center prepared a briefing session to introduce educational donations that are now rising as aspects of various businesses. 

The Head of the Center explained the concept of Educational Donations along with examples of various forms of educational donations. The introduction of Handong Global University Gyungsang Province Educational Donations Center provided examples of social contributions from businesses, examples of educational donation organizations, and the benefits to participating businesses of educational donations. 

In addition, the venue served an opportunity to share opinions and information regarding educational donations. This provided a way for businesses to consider participating. 

The Head of the Center, Sookhee Jung said, “Through this educational donation briefing session, many businesses in Daegu will join the educational donations program.” 

The Center has been developing educational donation organizations and institutions in Gyungsang Province in order to create an educational donations culture at the regional level. Customized programs for the institution and beneficiary matching have been provided. 

The Educational Donations Center of Gyunngsang Province at HGU’s is revitalizing educational donations all across the Gyungsang Province. The Center was selected by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity. Developing educational donations for the regional society, creating educational donation programs, and beneficiary matching are actively provided.
