HGU Signed an Agreement for Industry-University Cooperation with Gyeongbuk Eastern Affiliates of the Innobiz Association

On October 2, 2015, the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and the Foundation for Nurturing Converged Talents in Sustainable Energy and Environment in the Gyeongbuk East Sea of HGU and the Gyeongbuk Eastern Affiliates of the Innobiz Association signed an agreement on Industry-Academic cooperation at the Best Western Hotel, in Pohang.

At the signing ceremony there were seventy guests including: Professor Jae-Young Lee, from the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of HGU; President Sang-su Kim of HGU; the Gyeongbuk Eastern Affiliates of the Innobiz Association; members of Innobiz; the faculty of the Foundation; and related staff and other distinguished guests.

The institutions mutually agreed to establish and operate a close industry-academic linking system. This follows the leading converged research model between academia and industry. The goal is to recognize and resolve current challenges that local companies face.
