Handong Global University hosted ‘Handong around the Globe 2015 for four continents including Africa, Asia, America, and Europe.
The event was hosted to enhance students’ interests and mutual exchange in America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. Handong Global University was hosted by the Foundation Nurturing Global Creative and Innovative Talents based on ICT, UNESCO UNITWIN, and the Office of International Affairs. Professors and related staff of both foundations introduced programs for the four continents, hosted special lectures by experts, and various programs for strengthening students’ capacity to make a difference in the world.
The Week of America & Europe was scheduled to begin November 20, 2015. There was an introduction to the HILS program, information on career paths, information on global development programs, guidance for exchange students and targeted projects for America & Europe. Around the event venue, activity photos were displayed.
The Foundation for UNESCO UNITWIN had a presentation showing short-term programs of international entrepreneurship in Peru, Latin America. In addition, various projects of UNITWIN in the developing countries were shown and the way to join as student researchers were shared.
The Foundation for International Affairs had a previous session of education for visiting foreign enterprises and international organizations. The Foreign Enterprises Visiting Program will provide a chance to grow the students’ capacity which require global talents. In addition, the International Organization Visiting Program aims to further strengthen advanced learning in major fields. By visiting major related organizations and foreign governmental organizations, on-site centered education will occur.
