HGU Invited Senior Ambassadors to Korea, Strengthening Global Partnerships

Handong Global University introduced various activities and international cooperation programs as the representative global university in the UNESCO UNITWIN program and UN Academic Impact. The gathering also included foreign students. 

In his remarks, President Chang mentioned “I sincerely believe that HGU has a moral responsibility to contribute to global peace and prosperity through global cooperation.”

H.E. Natalia, Head of the Diplomatic Mission from Belarus and Ambassador to Korea, responded by saying “The slogan of HGU, ‘Why Not Change the World’, impressed me deeply. I believe that education will change the world. If we learn more, we will be able to do more work to alleviate poverty, bring peace and bring prosperity.”

Vice Mayor, Jaechun Lee, said, “Pohang city is born again as a place where people and businesses want to live and stay by making the second miracle of Youngilman through jumpstarting this creative city.” He also invited the ambassadors to the Pohang International Light Festival.

The diplomatic mission took a cruise and looked around the city and POSCO.
