International Area Studies and English are offered as integrated majors. Courses such as International Political Economics, Comparative Politics, Methodology of Area Studies, and Global Governance are offered for International Area Studies majors while English majors explore courses in British and American Novels, Languages and Information Training, Introduction to Interpretation, Media Translation, British and American Drama, Simultaneous Interpretation, Media English, International Conference Practice and more.
By offering an integrated education in International Area Studies and English, the School aims for its students to develop their gifts and discover their different callings (vocations) so they can continue to pursue them in an effective manner. Graduates find careers not only in corporations but also in international organizations, diplomacy, interpretation, translation, international business and general academia.
